Child Mental Health Occupational Therapy Counseling Social Attitude Intrinsic Motivation
There is no denying it: growing up is hard.  Shifting cultural priorities and the overwhelming variety of influences children experience can affect their views of themselves and those around them.  It is ever more essential that children - youth, young adults know who they are, have an internalized feeling of self worth, and be intrinsically motivated to set and achieve their goals.  To be intrinsically motivated, children have to view themselves with healthy mental attitudes.  Youth with healthy mental attitudes are more resilient, have better coping skills to manage everyday stresses, skillfully negotiate peer and adult interactions, and see themselves as capable and valuable members of their social circles.   It is a process.

Youthcentrix™ child mental health supports are designed to put theories and counseling information into the practice of everyday life.  This is where best intentions and ideas meet the test of reality.  Where old habits are replaced with new, healthy and empowering ways of thinking and being.  We strive to help children - youth, young adults create habits and routines that are supportive of their mental health, physical development, and spiritual well being.

Youthcentrix™
supports holistic child mental health by helping children - youth engage in meaningful activities of daily life.  Everyday life is where theories are proven and internalized.  We help children realize they are worthwhile contributors to their families, classrooms, and playgrounds.  Older children are encouraged to view themselves as directors of their lives and change agents in their circles of influence.

We support youth's full engagement in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including:
