Youthcentrix Youth Mentoring

Youthcentrix™ develops, administers, and disseminates programs and direct pediatric therapy services to advance the social and emotional development of youth.  We believe youth potentials should exceed the resources and paradigms of generations past.

Youthcentrix™ Capacity Building Groups are structured, outcomes-focused, and guided by participants' needs.  Mentoring groups are delivered in a two-stage process.   Youthcentrix™ Capacity Building Groups utilize a 1:4 best practice mentoring standard.

The youth mentoring program emphasizes core skills in social and emotional learning.  Structured activities and adult-facilitated group interaction allow mentored youth to explore their strengths and practice essential life skills.  All Youthcentrix™ mentors are pre-screened and trained to Youthcentrix™ mentoring processes and standards.
Youth Mentoring

Youthcentrix™ Capacity Building Groups are structured, outcomes focused and guided by participants' development and needs. The mentoring program emphasizes self-

advocacy, self-agency, self-expression, and communication skills. The activity-based mentoring employed in the sessions encourages an adaptive analysis of self.  It further broadens youths' peer, adult, community, and world perspectives. Guided activities promote development of the foundational critical thinking, reflective problem solving, and negotiation skills participants need to work efficiently and effectively toward their social, academic, personal, and professional goals.
